issyFine's Vita:
issyFine, the name:
It all started in Africa, actually in Guinea.
Jutta Rautenberg was staying there for a while, and since there was no
electricity the attendencies had to make music themselves.
It should be widely known, that Africans are good drummer....
It's actually Amarous "fault" that we're calling ourselves issyFine.
Amarous is a dancer and singer in front of the Almighty.
He and a few of his close friends sometimes emptied our Gin
and started slowly making music.
It was very hard for Amarous to sing in English, since they speak mostly Susu,
other dialects and French in Guinea , but that didn't keep him from doing so.......
thanks for the Gin!
Amarous began to sing: "Africa is o.k, Africa issyfine".
(which was supposed to mean "it's fine"),
and he sang this over several hours! The song and this "issyfine"
was branded into the brains of the fellow travelers, and some of them were still
humming the melody and the "text" on the following morning!
First contacts:
Each and everyone of issyFine plays in different Bands in Wesel/NRW:
Bands like: UpaUpa, W4L, inpetto, The Dirty Rhythm Bluesband, Frantics and Jazzreaktor;
in the genre Blues, Rock, Funk, Soul, Reggae and Singer/Songweiter Akusmatik!
Jutta Rautenberg, Klaus Sonntag, Walter Megerle and Rainer Dahmen know each other for several
years and often play on the "open stage" at the Quo Vadies ( a music - bar) in Wesel!
The Band:
Somehow the four of us got along right away. It was fun from the beginning
and we moved right along. After listening to our first recordings
( for example: the no name song) it was clear: we are a band and want to stay together!
Since each of us was familiar with different music directions,
every genre was tested and the issyFine way was developed very quickly,
to arrange and play interpretation and our own songs!
Because:
The priority of each of us is: To have fun making music!
We love it to arrange our own songs together!
Each of us loves the issyFine way!
We like each other a lot, and this is what the people feel in front of the stage!
We celebrate our music feeling honest and uncandielt!
We're excited before every concert like it's the first one!
We fight like girls, hard but fair!
We look to the audience, everytime!
....and we are convinced of us!!!
